Been busy as of late

And haven't been updating the blog as I should. But here's a few pics of a Ducati scrambler I saw while in NOLA this week. 

Make over continues.

Shot some clear on the tank. And got the Zombie riserless squid bars in. And have been polishing parts.

Getting ready for Cycledaze 3!

Doing a quick makeover on the Shovel for Cycle Daze 3.  Gonna put a frisco sporty tank on and clean and polish it all up. Looking forward to the show. 

Wrenching instead of riding.

This is a beautiful weekend. And all my bikes took a shit. The FXR has had motor mount / intake leak problems. So I ordered a new motor mount , and a super E kit. And a new throttle cable , as mine was about shot. 

I have been dragging my feet working on it. Because I've been having too much fun riding the shovel. But last night this happened. 

So I had no choice but to get cracking on my FXR. Just got done fixing I take leak. Now to tune it. 

I will ride before this weekend is over. 

Rabbit ears

I'm trying out some Zombie Performance 4 bend rabbit ears on my shovel.

Going thru some pics and found these. 

Thought I would do a little before and after. 

After. Tank and paint , bars , trees shaved internal fork stops, different headlight setup , new levers and MC. Fork shrouds

Top end rebuilt and new cam. 3" primary changes out for 1.5". Mids fabricated. Sissy bar fabbed and different fender , tailight. Completely rewired. New rear wheel with disc brakes. Pipes.    

I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff.

Solo ride Saturday

I was supposed to ride with Lance and LB yesterday. But I overslept. But still got a good solo ride in to Ranger , and a few back roads that I haven't done in awhile. Of course I couldn't resist hitting FM4 between Santo and Palo Pinto. 

Winding Stair!

Lance and I took off for a quick 2 day trip. We went up to Talihina OK and got on the Winding Stair. The Talimena Parkway Scenic byway. Across the top of the Oachita mountains over to Mena AR.
